Itinerary

Day 1

SALTA Arrive in Salta. Briefing and welcome dinner with a view the city and surrounding mountains.

Day 2

CACHI The journey of a land that produces great altitude wines starts in Cachi. A terroir that produces great wines also produces tasty spices, fruits and vegetables. Walk through agriculture fields, ancient and new.

Day 3

COLOMÉ Move deeper and higher into the valley, arrive at a winery that has been in production since 1831. Altitude biodynamic wines and the James Turrell Museum.

Day 4

REMOTE We venture further into the Andes, visit Bodega Tacuil tucked in a high Andean valley of the Calchaquí wine region. Indulge in the comfort of Estancia Colomé.

Day 5

CAFAYATE Drive south along route 40, the longest in Argentina, and the backbone of the Calchaquí Valley. Quebrada de las Flechas. Altitude sparkling wine tasting. Dinner with pairing.

Day 6

TERROIR Visit 3 wineries that have different stories, styles, and grow their vines at different altitudes in the sandy terroir of the Calchaquí Valley. Young daring winemakers. Traditional families.
